The Master in Cyber Security allows you master the basics of modern operating systems, and also familiar with distributed applications in the cloud, as well as methods of software forensics and data analysis. In our practice-oriented online study programme for cyber security, you will be trained to detect cyber threats and successfully defend against them.
The content will be a mix of interactive lectures from industry leaders as well as world-renowned faculty. Additionally, the program comprises live lectures or hangout sessions dedicated to solving your academic queries and reinforcing learning. In the final semester of the course, you will be writing a Thesis and participate in Colloquium.
The online program schedule is designed to ensure that you can successfully study alongside your job. Devoting 12-15 hours every week should be enough to graduate from the program. However, the more time you devote, the greater will be your learning from the program.
Post successful completion of the course, you will get a Master of Cyber Security (120 ECTS) Degree from IU, Germany.
Learners score should be less than or equal to 3.50 of German GPA in graduation (3 or 4 Years), 2 years of work experience after the completion of your graduation and the Medium of Instruction should be English as certified by bachelors graduation institution (MOI letter is required for admission purposes). For on-campus transition – where applicable -Recommended to have an additional English Language Certificate for Visa appointment (IELTS score of minimum 6.0 bands, TOEFL – Minimum 80).
Candidates whose score is more than 3.50 German GPA in the UG degree are not eligible to apply.

This amount can be withdrawn once you reach Germany to support your monthly expenses. Your actual expenses may vary depending on your lifestyle in Germany.
